When I started to look for a domain name for this blog I wanted to choose something personal that meant something to me. Easier said than done I would very quickly learn.  As unique as we human beings are, when put on the spot we can seem pretty darn bland.  Such was my case when I pondered domain names.

At one point the number 1122 flashed into my head and I started to think about how unobtrusively embedded in my life this number has become.

I was born on November 22nd (11/22) and was brought home and raised in a house with the address of 1122 which for one reason or another I never saw the connection between were I lived and the date I was born until that very moment.

Later on in life I would meet and marry my future wife, a woman with a birthday of 12/12. Put the month under the day and you have a vertical 1122.  At the time this blog was created my son’s sixth birthday was coming up.

If I add up 1122 as individual numbers I get a total of six, the age my son was turning. Coincidence? Probably… Fate? Maybe.  In any event, Eleven 22 was created to explore and expound upon my thoughts and ideas about life, family, friends, and society.
